Bio

Having played for the Tain Juniors at Under 15 and Under 17 level, Darran Goller signed for Tain Thistle's Welfare football team in May 2008. As an aspiring centre forward, Darran made 10 appearances during his first season, scoring one goal.

Debuting for Thistle's second XI side later that year, Darran impressed as a winger - a position he continued to play into 2009 when he picked up two winners medals with Thistle, for the Cordiner Cup win (during which he scored an important equalizer) and for the Ross-shire league championship. The same year he was awarded the Young Player of the Year award by the club.

Darran scored a season best of ten goals in 2010, while also netting his first competitive hat-trick. At the end of the season, we was awarded the Website Player of the Year. He finished as the club's top scorer with 17 goals the following year having impressed during the winter with Balintore in the North Caledonian League.
