Jags lose Pattison Cup final

The Jags missed out on a fourth trophy of the season on Saturday, losing 2-1 to a deserving Contin FC in the Pattisons' Challenge Cup Final. Despite taking the lead through Dave MacIver on 37 minutes thanks to a stunning 20 yard volley, Tain were quickly pegged back upon the restart when Andrew Gow prodded home a loose ball inside the box following a bad clearance.
The winning goal arrived fifteen minutes from the end when Kenny Clelland weaved his way into the box before tucking the ball past Johnny Allan.

Both teams convened at the Railway Hotel post match, where Jimmy Patullo and sponsor Alan Nimmons presented the trophy to Contin captain Cammy Bell.
