Cormack confirmed as new team boss

Following a general meeting of the Tain Thistle committee, the Club is pleased to announce the appointment of new team manager, Daniel Cormack.

Daniel, a former Ross County youth goalkeeper, has secured two Ross-shire Welfare league titles as a player in recent years, with Alness Athletic and Tain Thistle, and most recently played with Highland League side Clachnacuddin FC.

Club chairman Dale Finlayson is excited about the club's future during Cormack's reign.

"Daniel has shown great enthusiasm and a keenness to take the Club forward in terms of training and fitness. The committee were very impressed with his ideas where it concerns the development and involvement of younger players and the importance of proper preparation. We are confident that his obvious willingness and desire to succeed will translate on the park as we enter into the next stage in Tain Thistle's history."

"As defending champions, Daniel and the team will no doubt go into the next campaign with the weight of expectation on their shoulders, however, he and his players will do so with the full backing of everyone connected with the Club. On behalf of the committee, I would like to wish Daniel and the team all the best for 2016."
