Martyn Farquhar named Player of the Month
<img class="imgleft" align="left" alt="" src="http://www.tainthistle.co.uk/news/data/upimages/potm.jpg">Tain Thistle's Martyn Farquhar received the approval of his peers this week as he was voted Tain Thistle Player of the Month for May. The Thistle regular had impressed with displays in the Welfare club's opening games of the season, playing at centre half and in the midfield, while also chipping in with a goal against league rivals Balintore.<br /><br />Farquhar (pictured left) received his Player of the Month plaque at the club's league game against Cromarty this evening, presented with the award by fellow player Kyle Oliver.
