Tain Juniors U17s 3-2 Invergordon U17s
Tain Juniors' Under 17 side remaining on maximum points in the SWL Ross-shire Youth League this weekend after a Friday evening win over neighbours Invergordon.<br /><br />Despite taking the lead through Stewart Shearer after twenty minutes, Tain found themselves 2-1 down at the break following a below par first half. The hairdryer treatment from coach Rob Nicolson sent the team out with a renewed desire and before long Keiran Cunningham had nicked a deserved equaliser. Tain had gained control and with ten minutes to go, captain Chris Gordon scored the winner to give Tain a 3-2 win.<br /><br />Next week, the 17s travel to Dingwall in a much anticipated clash between last season's top two teams.
